Sales and marketing are in Bethany Laub’s DNA. Before switching to a career in residential real estate sales, she spent more than 25 years working in sales with major Fortune 500 companies that included Proctor and Gamble, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Clairol and Faberge. But in 1992, she began investing in real estate properties and the agents with whom she worked would repeatedly ask why she wasn’t a Realtor – each suggesting that she’d make an excellent one. Told so often that she eventually took their advice, she embraced her new career with great gusto, earning a multitude or professional designations, including: ABR® - Accredited Buyer Representative, ASP - Accredited Staging Professional, AHWD® - At Home With Diversity, CNE® - Certified Negotiation Expert, GRI® - Graduate, Realtor® Institute, SRES® - Seniors Real Estate Specialists, as well as ultimately receiving her Broker’s license.
Bethany works as a team with her husband, Joe, specializing primarily in waterfront, golf course and horse properties in the Lake Conroe area, although the scope of their business continues to grow. Their mutual experience in corporate sales ingrained in them the importance of quality customer service and attention to detail. It follows then, that the thing that has been a hallmark of their success is their approachability. Once prospective clients meet them, they are made to feel very comfortable and well cared for.
“Joe and I take a professional approach to all transactions accented by thorough follow-up. But it is critical that we build warm relationships and good communication with our clients. This is the only way we know how to operate and it is the key to repeat and referral business.”
A graduate of University of Tennessee and a resident of the Houston area for 32 years, Bethany moved to the Lake Conroe area 20 years ago and has gained an unsurpassed knowledge of real estate in and around Montgomery and its adjoining counties. She is active in the April Sound Ladies Association, April Sound Tennis Association, Lake Conroe Women’s Republication Association, and stays in close contact with the April Sound HOA.
When not showing and selling real estate, Bethany and Joe dote on their blended families, which include three sons, one daughter and three granddaughters. Besides watching her sons play basketball and tennis, Bethany, who grew up showing Tennessee Walking Horses with her father who was a trainer, takes great joy in attending horse shows with former competitors and teammates.
