Blake Plaster’s passion for real estate was sparked in high school when he helped his parents find their current Memorial home. He recalls, “I greatly enjoyed researching listings and attending open houses. From then on, I knew that real estate was a career fit for me!”
After graduating from Memorial High School, Blake earned a degree in Communications from the University of Houston, where he was a member of the Undergraduate Real Estate Scholars (URES).
Blake knows perseverance is key in real estate, and he succeeds by pairing his energy with a calm and positive attitude. He is well aware that buying a home is one of the biggest decisions a client will make, which is why he strives to be a sensitive and dedicated guide through the process.
It's also why he makes every effort to be the best. Blake is one of only roughly 10% of Realtors who have achieved the prestigious Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation. His clients benefit greatly from his care and competence. One says of his experience, "Blake was a tremendous asset to us throughout the process. His communication was excellent, as he always kept us apprised of the latest developments between the various parties involved."
Blake's enthusiasm and drive are only paralleled by his passion and commitment to his city. He is a proud native Houstonian doing what he loves. A Memorial-area resident for more than 20 years, he is well-acquainted with West Houston including the Energy Corridor and Katy and the market areas inside the loop including the Heights, West University, Rice Military and River Oaks. However, he adds, "Undoubtedly, the Memorial area is my number one area of specialization: Memorial Villages, Memorial Forest, Frostwood, Whispering Oaks, and Fonn Villas east of the beltway; Rustling Pines, Memorial Plaza, Wilchester, Nottingham, Yorkshire west of the beltway and all of their surrounding neighborhoods."
Blake is a proud supporter of all Houston sports teams and attends UH Cougar football games when he can. A long-time musician, he plays guitar in his free time. Blake is a member and supporter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
