Donna Wells Pierce can trace her family's interest and involvement in real estate to the late 1700's when her English ancestors arrived in America as land surveyors. A native of San Antonio, Pierce graduated with high honors from the University of Texas at Austin, and has been a Realtor® since 1984. A top producer throughout her real estate career, she has closed the sales of many impressive homes.
Working with a wide range of clients in neighborhoods both inside and outside the Loop, Pierce has participated in over $100 million in sales during the past 18 years and led the market with one of the year 2000's highest dollar sales in River Oaks. Although the top dollar sales are exciting, Pierce's highest priority is helping her customers find a home that fulfills their dreams, no matter what the price range. Finding the best property for the budget allowed is a Realtor's greatest challenge and most satisfying accomplishment," says Pierce. "I love happy endings for both buyer and seller," she says, "so whether I am the listing agent, buyer's agent or assisting the buyer, I always try to maintain that objective. I've been fortunate in meeting sales quotients and establishing long-term relationships with my customers and other agents in the process.
"Professionalism, market knowledge and superb negotiating skills are Pierce's particular strengths in Houston's competitive real estate industry. Her persistence in working through transactions to closing is widely respected," says Mary Steele, General Manager of Heritage Texas Properties.
As a former school teacher, Pierce is committed to Houston's schools and children and is especially knowledgeable in Spring Branch Independent School District. Parenting 4 graduates of Memorial area schools, Pierce has firsthand knowledge of the public and private schools in the area. She is past president of Rustling Pines Women's Association and has served on a number of charity boards.
Pierce's association with Heritage Texas Properties affords her the professional opportunity of serving clients who want to live in the Tanglewood/Memorial area as well as those who want to live inside the Loop. Heritage Texas Properties provides strong agent support by offering its agents up-to-date market information and marketing programs, says Pierce. "Each of Houston's distinguished neighborhoods is a different market with different characteristics. With twelve offices throughout the greater Houston area, Heritage Texas Properties makes it possible for agents to work primarily in one market, but serve clients in each of Houston's fine residential neighborhoods."
