Vice President of Sales, Fort Bend Office
“I love to see people reach their potential, and I am always their strongest promoter.” It is with this attitude that Judy Monroe encourages, motivates and inspires the staff and agents at Heritage Texas Properties’ Fort Bend office as Vice President of Sales.
A Ceritified Negotiation Expert (CNE), a Leadership Training Graduate® (LTG) and a Quality Service Certified® (QSC) trainer, Judy works ceaselessly to stay on top of trends and changes in her industry.
She has served as a Director on the Boards of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR), the Texas Association of Realtors (TAR), and the Houston Association of Realtors (HAR) in addition to currently serving on the MLS Committee and Governmental Affairs Committee. Her efforts have been recognized year after year by those in real estate. She has been the Fort Bend WRC Member of the Year, the HAR Fort Bend Outstanding Realtor of the Year, and is an Omega Tau Rou Recipient.
Though she is proud to call herself a fourth generation Texan, Judy lived all over the world growing up in a military family. She has made her home in First Colony in Sugar Land for more than twenty years.
Having moved herself many times, Judy understands firsthand the stress clients are under when buying and selling a home. This is why she says, “I also recognize the need for providing services that help people get plugged in and feeling comfortable with their new community - this could range from networking a résumé to finding a gymnastics class for a son or daughter.”
Judy approaches every situation with a positive attitude and a sense of humor. She is genuine in her care and concern for people and works hard to meet the needs of the Realtors in her office and their clients. Before coming to Heritage Texas Properties, Judy worked as a Real Estate Relocation Director for a large area broker and in marketing and public relations with a master planned community developer. Given this diverse background, she understands different sides of the multi-faceted real estate industry.
Judy keeps her finger on the pulse of her community. She is part of the Ft. Bend Chamber of Commerce, Ft. Bend Literacy, First Colony Community Association Realtor Advisory Board and a member of the Ladies of the Club Book Club. Married, Judy has two grown sons, a cat and two Golden Retrievers.
