Before becoming a Realtor, Natalee Kelaher worked in the Texas Medical Center for 15 years – first in Human Resources and then as an Academic Administrator. In those roles, she assisted numerous health care professionals and trainees transitioning to the Houston area. Working with all levels of professionals and personality types, she grew to understand how much everyone's needs are different and developed great instincts about how to provide the most help.
The practice of assisting her medical residents’ with their transition to Houston, added to the more personal experience of searching for and finding what is now Natalee’s and her husband’s current home, fascinated and inspired her to consider a career switch to Real Estate. Looking at a variety of home styles in many different parts of the Houston area proved irresistible and the change in occupations inevitable.
Since becoming licensed in 2010, she has been diligent in expanding her knowledge and ability to assist clients effectively. She has earned professional designations as a Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI) and Texas Affordable Housing Specialist (TAHS), and is also a graduate of the prestigious Texas Real Estate Leadership Program (TRLP).
She loves working with all types of buyers/sellers but, thanks to her prior career, she particularly enjoys working with medical professionals, helping first-time home buyers, and assisting relocation clients, all of whom draw out her maternal instincts. Another favored focus is working with move-up buyers and those in the market for a second home. Specializing in Houston’s inner loop properties, she brings the breadth of her experience to each transaction, giving each valued client an “insider’s view” advantage throughout the buying and selling process.
Whoever the client, the first thing they learn about Natalee is that she is her own authentic self, or as she says it, “What you see is what you get.” What they get is a positive attitude, diligence, and professionalism, coupled with integrity, honesty and an emphasis on ethical practices. Her personal philosophy is: service, integrity, dedication, and commitment to excellence. “I listen to my client’s needs and desires and makes sure I match those with results!”
A graduate of Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, with a BA in Sociology and a minor in Communications, Natalee is a self-starter who supported herself throughout college with scholarships, grants, loans and working every semester/spring break/winter break and summers. She’s tech-savvy and has accounts on Facebook, Linked In, Pinterest and Twitter.
Married to her "best friend," Natalee and her husband share their home with Sadie, a 14-year old black lab-collie mix that Natalee adopted as a puppy. A world traveler and a self-professed foodie, Natalee loves to cook and entertain friends.
