Lynn S. Zarr, Sr. began his real estate career in Houston, Texas, in 1973, and owned his own company for more than thirty-four years. He built his and his company's reputation on the highest professional and ethical standards in the industry. Lynn's focus is and always has been on developing a comprehensive marketing approach with attention to detail. Communication and integrity are always foremost in his business plan.
An MBA graduate from George Washington University in Washington, D.C., Lynn began his long career in real estate as a one man office and ultimately grew Zarr & Company REALTORS® to an organization with more than one hundred sales associates and staff. Recognized as a real estate leader, in 1993 he was elected and served as President of the Houston Association of REALTORS®, the largest REALTOR®'s association in the country.
Then, in 1999, he merged Zarr & Company REALTORS® with House Hunters Inc. to form Heritage Texas Properties, a company that is one of Houston's largest independently owned residential real estate companies.
In 2008, having had second homes at Lake McQueeney for more than thirty years, Lynn and his wife, Sherry, built a home on the Guadalupe River and made the McQueeney/New Braunfels area their permanent address. But real estate is in Lynn's DNA and 'retirement' just wasn't in his vocabulary, so he continued selling and has since moving. In March 2013, he happily rejoined Heritage Texas Properties as a Broker Associate upon the opening of the company's fifteenth location - an office serving the New Braunfels/Lake McQueeney/Gruene area.
Lynn and Sherry have three sons and seven grandchildren.
