Native Houstonian Sarah Machann represents sellers and buyers in neighborhoods across Houston. Friendly, open, trustworthy, dependable, and always on time, Sarah has forged a network of long-term client relationships that provide her with repeat and referral business. She is especially versed in assisting first-time home buyers who need extra care during the transaction process. Through her membership in the Greater Houston Builders Association, Sarah has also strengthened her knowledge of the home-building process and developed a strong network of luxury home-builder clients.
Sarah always knew that she would be a Realtor, and began her residential real estate career immediately after graduating from Texas Tech University with a degree in business. She applies the proven techniques of supply chain marketing to make sure that advertising for each of her seller’s properties reaches the right group of potential buyers. “Every property is different,” she states. “I tailor my marketing plans accordingly, and it is important to me that my sellers never have to question if their property is reaching all the right people.”
According to Sarah, the best career advice she has received came from her father, a sales manager at Westside Lexus in Houston. “My father has maintained relationships with some families over several generations. When I began my career, he told me to listen to each client’s every need. ‘If you take care of your clients, they’ll take care of you.’ That kind of loyalty is priceless and generates a giant network of referral business.”
Sarah graduated from James E. Taylor High School in Katy, Texas. At Texas Tech, she joined Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and is active in Texas Tech and Kappa Kappa Gamma alumni groups. Sarah also values her community outreach with The Junior League of Houston and Texas Children’s Hospital Cancer Center. “Volunteering has put me in touch with people from all walks of like. I love seeing the joy it brings to others when you go above and beyond for them in a volunteer environment, and I incorporate that commitment into my business.”
When Sarah is not working or volunteering, she seeks every opportunity to travel. Her most far-flung travel experiences include mission trips to India and Nicaragua.
