Never one to do things halfway, when Stephanie Besett Ryan decided to switch from media
marketing and planning to real estate, getting her
Realtor’s license in 2009 was only the first step. Wanting to make sure she could offer her clients first class knowledge and service, Stephanie worked hard and ultimately earned her Broker’s license. To further enhance her industry knowledge, Stephanie also earned her Graduate, Realtor® Institute (GRI) professional designation and an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) designation, the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation.
Still, her extensive marketing background has proved to be a great asset in promoting and selling her clients’ homes. She knows how to bring out the best in their properties and position them to be seen by their target audience. A gifted photographer who is great with technology and creative marketing, she often uses non-traditional media to help market unique properties.
Stephanie has great instincts about what homebuyers want and need to see and has a critical eye for price and a home’s value. Whether working with buyers or sellers, she wants to ensure that her clients are getting the best deal possible.
She describes herself as the opposite of a high-pressure super-salesperson type. Rather, her clients find that she is steady as a rock – very calm, persistent, positive and detail-oriented – and trust that she has their best interests in mind. Stephanie loves what she does and particularly enjoys the opportunity to meet new people and sell new properties – although she has developed a great network of repeat and referral business.
But her greatest joy comes from spending time with her beautiful daughter, Kate – the light of her life, along with two dogs, a cat and a horse. Originally from Amarillo, Stephanie earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from THE University of Texas in Austin (the capital letters are hers – she bleeds burnt orange).
When not riding with her daughter, cheering on the Longhorns, or listing and selling in and around Lake McQueeney (a particular area of focus), Stephanie devotes time to her industry and her community. She is a member of the MLS Board of the local Board of Realtors and serves on their Governmental Affairs committee. She served as chairman of the Guadalupe Regional Hospital’s Hospice Gala two years in a row, is a past president of Tejas (a women’s historical group), member of the Seguin Conservation
Society, the Seguin Chamber of Commerce,
and the Episcopal Church.
