Here we are
this month following the holiday lights around the Tanglewood and Memorial
Villages area. This area starts in the Galleria area
just outside the 610 Loop and sprawls westward. Housing in
the area includes high-rises, townhomes and homes. Tanglewood,
now home to former US President George Bush and his wife,
Barbara Bush, frequently includes Colonial or Georgian architectural
styles with some French & contemporary construction.
The "Villages" — an incorporation of four
municipalities — features quiet neighborhoods with manicured
lawns. Many homes lie along Buffalo Bayou.
