This month we are here "inside
the loop" touring the area that is inside Loop 610 -
the major roadway circling downtown Houston.
This area encompasses Downtown, Museum
District, Montrose, Midtown, River
Oaks, West
University, and Memorial
Park. Adorned with tree-lined streets, housing ranges
from wood-frame bungalows to stately mansions. Many areas
are experiencing a revitalization with older homes being
replaced with townhomes & lofts. High-rises are also
available in this area.
Downtown Houston has been experiencing
its own renaissance. New sports arenas have been built, the
Theatre District has grown, the Museum of Fine Arts has been
expanded to include another building. And housing is on the
rise.
On February 1, 2004, Houston will host Super
Bowl XXXVIIII.
