A passion for people, homes, and decorating, combined with advanced business acumen, drew Amy Raper to her career as a Realtor. During Amy's nearly 14 years as a Certified Public Accountant in the oil and gas industry, her attention to detail, strong work ethic, and can-do attitude made her the go-to person to coordinate and facilitate complex, high-profile projects. That ability to communicate and work with everyone from entry-level staff to corporate executives was the key to her success. After friends and family frequently enlisted Amy to assist with decorating their existing homes or in searching for new homes, she redirected her business expertise into a career in residential real estate sales.
Amy serves her clients with the utmost professionalism and integrity, and builds solid relationships by working together as a team during the entire purchase or sale transaction. A life-long Houstonian, she has lived "inside the Loop" in the Highland Village area and then in The Woodlands for the past 14 years. Amy's familiarity with Houston's core and suburban areas makes her an invaluable neighborhood and lifestyle resource for her clients.
Education is an integral part of Amy's life. She holds a BBA from Texas A&M University in management information systems; an MS in accounting from University of Houston Clear Lake; a CPA license; and a Realtor's license. Her drive and determination to stay informed about Houston's dynamic real estate market motivate Amy to stay abreast of current trends through continuing Realtor education.
Amy and her husband have three sons and a daughter who attend Conroe ISD elementary, middle and high schools in The Woodlands. In addition to attending her children's sports events and activities, Amy loves to travel, watch college football, go to the Round Top Antiques Fair, and spend time with her family. She is an active PTO member and volunteer at her children's schools and supports the American Heart Association, the Gulf Coast Marrow Donor Program, Will Herndon Fund at Beyond Batten Disease Foundation, and a number of local sports organizations/booster clubs.
