Candy Schubert knew she wanted to become an agent while working as an office administrator at a real estate firm in Bellville. “I was intrigued and really observed the agents and noticed how each transaction was different,” says Candy. “I found it very exciting.”
Now that Candy’s a licensed Realtor, she appreciates the on-the-job training she received at that office. “Above all, I learned the importance of listening to a client’s needs. I enjoy getting to know my clients and finding the best fit for them.”
Born and raised in Houston, Candy moved to the New Ulm area in 1976. She enjoys listing and selling homes in New Ulm, Bellville, Industry and Brenham. “I’m a downhome person, so I can relate to someone wanting to purchase a home in the country.”
When not working, Candy enjoys hunting, scrapbooking and spending time with her family. She and her husband, Gregg, have two grown children, daughter, Angie and son, Brady.
Candy is also an active volunteer and enjoys giving back to the community. She is a member of the Welcome Lutheran Church, works with the Austin County Fair on the Queen Committee and Swine Show and is a familiar face at the Industry Volunteer Fire Department, where both her husband and son are fire department officers and volunteers.
