Kayelin has been married to her husband, Travis, for 18 years, they have one young son, Houston 7 years old, and a wire-haired Dachshund named Axel. In her free time she enjoys reading, dancing, exercise and travel. A little-known fact about Kayelin, she was professionally trained in ballet, jazz and tap dance and even appeared on the original Ed McMahon's Star Search show as a finalist in 1991. She is a purple belt in TaeKwonDo and is committed to become a black belt by 2020.
She is active in several childhood cancer coalitions such as Triumph Over Kid Cancer, Candlelighters Houston and she annually adopts a family of a child with cancer and helps make their holiday extra special during a very trying time. She is passionate about women's health and supports the American Cancer Society and American Heart Association and recently started volunteering at the Montgomery County Food Bank.
